About this Event
Adults ages 55+ are invited to join us for an immersive experience in the galleries, followed by an art-making activity. This month, we will highlight our Xicágo Gallery exhibition Rieles y Raíces: Traqueros in Chicago and the Midwest. In this workshop, we will delve into a printmaking technique where we carve rubber blocks by hand to create linocuts. Once carved, you can test your prints using ink pads!

Adultos mayores de 55 años están invitados a unirse a nosotros para una experiencia inmersiva en las galerías, seguida de una actividad artística. Este mes, destacaremos nuestra exposición en la Galería Xicágo, Rieles y Raíces: Traqueros en Chicago y el Medio Oeste. En este taller, profundizaremos en una técnica de grabado: tallamos bloques de goma a mano para crear linograbados. Una vez tallados, ¡podrán probar sus impresiones con tinta!
