Have Fun with Your Inner Artist
Somewhere inside everyonSomewhere inside everyone is an Inner Artist waiting patiently for a chance to shine. Invite them out to play in this hands-on, two-hour creative experience from the EMOSY Community Arts Initiative at Tulsa Stained Glass. We’ll use a variety of fun and creative arts and crafts techniques to encourage your Inner Artist. It’s great for self-care!
Inspired by the Word of the Month, the Tulsa Stained Glass Team will lead you through exploring different art forms while using the Five-Step EMOSY Process: EXPLORE • SKETCH • REFINE • DESIGN • SHARE. If you’d like to learn more about this process, it is found in the book Have Fun with Your Inner Artist, available at the studio.
This is not about becoming a professional artist or putting pressure on yourself to be perfect. For more than 50 years, Tulsa Stained Glass has watched people who said, “I'm not artistic,” discover the satisfaction of creating something meaningful with their own hands.
VISIONS builds upon that experience by encouraging experimentation, discovery, decision-making, and completion.
The goal is to help participants become more comfortable exploring ideas, expressing themselves visually, completing projects, sharing stories when they choose, and becoming proud of what they create.

No previous artistic or crafting experience is required.
Bring your curiosity and your willingness to make something meaningful, have fun and discover what your inner artist has been trying to show you.

Rage Room Experience
All classes include Rage Room smashing. Students are encouraged to write, draw or doodle an image of what makes them happy or sad on the dinnerware provided. In a symbolic gesture, the item is smashed to pieces, representing multiplied blessings or riddance of ill feelings.
The Fine Print:
• Closed toe shoes required. Glass or hot solder + feet = ouch! Long pants preferred for smashing activities.
• Participants sign a Personal Injury Waiver and an Intellectual Property Waiver to attend class. Please read Waiver before your event. There will be a copy for you to sign in person at the event. Adults must sign on behalf of minor participants. Photos and/or videos of you and your project may be used for promotional purposes on social media or other platforms. If you wish to be excluded, please notify us at check in.
• Rescheduling or cancelations are only accepted up to 48 hours before the event date. No refunds will be made for part or all of the class value after the cancelation deadline. Please email us at [email protected], and we will be happy to assist you in canceling or rescheduling. There is a $10 rescheduling fee per person. • Doors open 15 minutes prior to class and classes begin promptly at time listed.
• All minors need to be accompanied by an adult and all attendees must have a paid ticket. Minimum age is 15.
