Leica Store San Francisco is excited to welcome back renowned photographer and director Mark de Paola for the 2026 edition of Vision to Volume, a special event celebrating the work of artists from an intensive photobook publishing Monograph Masterclass.
Presented in collaboration with , , , and , this showcase marks the debut of limited-edition fine art books created by the program’s participating artists, a group of emerging voices in contemporary photography who have transformed their personal projects into beautifully designed, professionally produced monographs. Guided by Mark de Paola, producer and editor Sage Backstrom, and a team of publishing, design, and print experts at Brilliant Graphics, each artist has brought a unique visual narrative to life, from initial concept to finished publication.
Spanning subjects and approaches from humanistic documentary to lyrical abstraction, these books reflect the vision, dedication, and craftsmanship of a new generation of photographic storytellers. The showcase celebrates not only the artists’ creative achievements, but also the photobook as a powerful medium for personal expression, visual storytelling, and cultural dialogue.
