Portal Session 01 is a one-night, hands-on virtual production class at Archportals in downtown St. Louis. Over the evening we'll build an environment in Unreal Engine, set up camera tracking on the LED wall, light and shoot a scene, and then edit and color it in DaVinci Resolve, so you leave having worked through the whole pipeline yourself. It's a good fit for DPs, filmmakers, photographers, or anyone curious about how virtual production actually works, and you don't need to know Unreal going in. Doors open at 4:30 for an optional open lab if you want to see the technical setup early. The main session runs from 5:30 to 9:45, and this first one is free and limited to about 15 people.
