Norfolk International Airport is the closest airport to Virginia Beach. The IATA code for the airport is ORF, and it is 12.7 miles from the city. You can fly to Virginia Beach via American Airlines and United Airlines, with various flights available to Norfolk International.

The conference hotel is the Holiday Inn North Beach.

Poster presentations offer a unique opportunity for the presenter(s) and the audience to engage in conversation with one another. Space is provided to display scholarly research; you can offer handout materials. The poster session is noted in the conference program. When the poster session is scheduled, locate the table with your poster title.
During the designated time, the audience moves through the poster displays, stopping to interact with those presenting research, service, practice, or policy information that is particularly interesting to them. The interaction between the presenters and the audience can be more meaningful than just sitting and listening to oral sessions. When constructing your poster, remember to take full advantage of the opportunities provided by this unique presentation method. Virginia CEC will provide a tri-fold display board (48 x 36) and a table. Please bring binder clips to post your poster to the cardboard.

We strongly encourage participants to stay at the Holiday Inn North Beach to take advantage of the group rate, networking opportunities, and proximity to sessions.
