"Vikki is delighted that Boston Folk Club have booked a date on her 2027 UK tour.Vikki Clayton lived for many years in Lincolnshire and is pleased to be returning to this delightful county.
Vikki Clayton is one of the best and most successful female folk singers this country has produced in the past forty years . She is of course well known for her work with Fairport Convention. She is a prolific songwriter to date she has released nine critically acclaimed solo albums, one of the most popular and biggest selling being “ It Suits Me Well - The Songs Of Sandy Denny “ We think it’s fairly safe to say nobody sings the songs of Sandy Denny better than Vikki Clayton.
Her set on the night will include some of her own original material, a few of her favourite Andy Denny songs alongside some traditional and contemporary folk songs".
