{ V i g i l i a }\*A sacred sleeplessness.\
For the veil grows thin. \
A vigil of music, movement, and spirit.*
# We call you—to dance, to witness, to awaken.
On Halloween,\
when the boundaries between worlds grow thin,\
we gather in the dark to honor what lingers,\
what has been shed,\
and what is waiting to emerge.
Enter the threshold.\
Leave the ordinary behind.\
Move with the mysterious, the ancient, the unknown.\
Meet us in the ritual.\
Meet us on the dance floor.
*Vigilia* is an experimental evening—part performance, part ritual, part dance party.\
An intimate experience for the intentional, the curious, the seekers.
On this night, we turn toward the darkness. Through movement, circus, sound and poetry, we honor those who came before us, the cycles of death and rebirth, and the parts of ourselves that only reveal themselves after dark.
Come as a creature, an ancestor, a dream, a memory.\
Dress to dance with the spirit realm.\

MUSIC\
[NOMINE](https://nominesound.com/) is a DJ and producer known for his genre-defying approach to electronic music. He moves between bass, broken rhythms, ambient textures, and deep, hypnotic sound. His sets create immersive worlds—dark, atmospheric, unpredictable—where the dance floor becomes both ritual and release. For Halloween, we welcome **Nomine as our special guest**, collaborating with Hybrid Movement Company on a live performance shaped around his music. His sound will intertwine with our movement, building a sonic world before carrying us deep into the dance.
[ElJeffre](https://www.instagram.com/eljeffre_/) is a multi-versed musician manifesting music, soundscapes, journeys and visions. He shares his artistry both in the wildly expressive NYC nightlife scene as well as in gatherings where the focus is more oriented towards healing and integration. Despite these areas being seemingly opposed, he brings a common energy of ingenuity, artistry and connection to every circumstance - continuously finding that the shadow work at night informs the light work during the day.
[Iris in the Sky](https://www.instagram.com/iris.inthesky/) is a New York based live loop artist, vocalist, soundscape designer and mythopoetic bard. Combining soulful vocals, production and live looping, she creates hypnotic, dream-like soundscapes ranging from meditations to beat-centric dance music. Deeply influenced by nature, sound healing, painting, writing and mysticism, Iris colors her sets with natural textures, world instruments, sounds of space, vocal harmonies and rhythmic prose. She believes music is a force of storytelling, magic, alchemy and evolution.
**PERFORMANCE RITUAL\
[Hybrid Movement Company](https://www.hybridmovementcompany.com/)** brings together artists from contemporary dance, circus, martial arts, bboying, visual arts, music and animation through a collaborative approach to movement and performance. For ***Vigilia***, movement, poetry and sound collide in a live ritual created specifically for the night. Bodies become symbols, the stage becomes a threshold and the audience becomes part of the experience. A moment of beauty, danger, sensuality and transformation before the performance dissolves into the dance floor.
**THE VENUE**\
[ArtX NYC](https://www.artxnyc.com/) is the setting for this Halloween's vigil. In the heart of Manhattan's Meatpacking District, ArtX is an art and nightlife space where performance, music, movement and visual culture meet. For one night, the gallery becomes a stage, a ritual space, a dance floor—blurring the line between spectacle and party, witness and participant. A place to lose your bearings. A portal into the night.
