As part of PhotoMonth 2026, award-winning artist Immo Klink presents Victoria's Trees, a photographic series of nocturnal trees placed in dialogue with the highs and lows of urban routines, from corporate life to dark kitchens.
The exhibition started as a personal project around solace found in nature and with capturing the bare branches that shape London’s parks during the winter months. Combined with urban scenes taken while working as a delivery rider, Victoria’s Trees grew into a wider reflection on the precarity of city life, powerlessness and inequality driven by AI and climate change.
Foregrounding the positive effects of access to nature, presented at an urban winery situated next to Victoria Park where the project originated, the exhibition also represents an extension of the artist’s political work. Klink has documented causes ranging from climate action to civil liberties, most recently campaigning with the Citizens Arrest Network to bring water and fossil fuel CEOs to justice.
While the pressures on society and the need for activism increase, political art is a particularly hard sell. Immo Klink responds with a crowdfunding campaign that mirrors the ethos of Victoria’s Trees by offering fine art prints of trees while raising awareness and support for his practice.
