Victoria University's Hospitality, Culinary Arts and Events students invite you to attend our Semester 2 Charity Dinner, a special fundraising event showcasing the talent of future industry professionals while supporting the incredible work of Feed Me, a charity dedicated to reducing food insecurity and rescuing quality food that would otherwise go to waste.
This year's event proudly features acclaimed guest chef Graham Jefferies, owner and chef of Samesyn 2.0 in Torquay. Recognised for his innovative low-waste dining philosophy, Chef Jefferies has transformed Samesyn into a purpose-driven restaurant focused on sustainability, community impact, and the creative use of rescued produce. All profits from Samesyn 2.0 are donated back to Feed Me, helping support vulnerable members of the community.
Working alongside Victoria University's aspiring chefs, hospitality professionals and event managers, Chef Jefferies will present a specially curated dining experience inspired by sustainable gastronomy, local produce, and modern Australian cuisine. Guests will enjoy an evening that celebrates both culinary excellence and social responsibility.

About Graham Jefferies
With more than 30 years of culinary experience across South Africa, Europe and Australia, Graham Jefferies is one of regional Victoria's most innovative chefs. The founder of Samesyn 2.0, he has earned national recognition for his creative low-waste approach to dining, sustainable food practices and commitment to addressing food insecurity through hospitality. Samesyn 2.0 has received multiple industry accolades, including 2 Hats, recently inducted into the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival Hall of Fame. Graham is pioneering a restaurant model that combines exceptional dining with meaningful social impact.
Supporting Feed Me
Feed Me is a registered charity serving the Bellarine, Geelong and Surf Coast communities. Through food rescue, meal production and food relief programs, Feed Me helps thousands of people experiencing food insecurity while diverting significant amounts of quality food from landfill. Funds raised through this event will contribute directly to supporting their ongoing community programs.
