THE MIGHTY 88 & THE MEGA TRAIN
TWO SHOWS • ONE NIGHT • ALL ABOARD!
Get ready for a double-shot of piano poundin’, soul shoutin’, horn blowin’ American roots music as GRAMMY-nominated blues and boogie-woogie powerhouse Victor Wainwright rolls into town with a special TWO-SHOW event unlike anything you’ve seen before.
The evening kicks off with Victor Wainwright’s Tribute to the Mighty 88 Piano Masters, a high-octane celebration of the legendary piano giants who shaped the sound of American music. Victor will tear through the songbooks of Little Richard, Ray Charles, Jerry Lee Lewis, Dr. John, and other larger-than-life keyboard kings, delivering an unforgettable evening of stomping rhythms, fiery solos, and piano-driven mayhem. It’s a joyous revival of the music that shook jukeboxes, rattled dance floors, and changed the world.
Then, after a short intermission, Victor returns with his powerhouse ensemble, The Mega Train, for a full-throttle second set featuring fan favorites, deep cuts, and original songs from his acclaimed GRAMMY-nominated catalog. Fueled by blazing musicianship, a world-class horn section, and Victor’s signature blend of blues, rock-and-roll, soul, and boogie-woogie, The Mega Train delivers an experience that’s equal parts concert, celebration, and runaway locomotive.
