Git in an AI-Native World
AI is changing the way we build software. As agents become faster, more autonomous, and increasingly able to work in parallel, producing changes becomes easier—but managing those changes becomes more important. This talk explores why Git may be more valuable than ever in an AI-native development environment. Starting from the Git concepts that already enable concurrent development, we will explore how they can be extended to support:
- Concurrent workflows involving multiple AI agents
- Git-backed project state and organizational memory
- Automated guardrails for safely managing autonomous changes
Along the way, we will look at practical patterns for using Git as part of the underlying infrastructure for AI-native software development.
Coffee and Tea will be served.
Feel free to grab a lunch at the Fort Cafe, located on site.
