Welcome to the Veterans First: Community Hiring Expo!
Join us on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Bob Hope Patriotic Hall, 1816 S. Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015.
Hosted by JVS SoCal Veteran Services in recognition of Veterans Day, this veteran-focused hiring event connects veterans, transitioning service members, military spouses, and other job seekers with employers that are actively hiring. Veterans are the focus, but everyone is welcome to attend.
For Employers:
Connect with talented candidates, including military veterans who bring proven leadership, adaptability, teamwork, and valuable technical skills to the workforce. Participating employers should have current job openings and be actively recruiting.
This is an opportunity to showcase your organization, recruit qualified candidates, and build meaningful connections. Employers are strongly encouraged to conduct onsite interviews and make hiring decisions whenever possible.
For Veterans and Other Job Seekers:
Meet directly with employers hiring across a variety of industries and learn about available career opportunities. Bring several copies of your current resume, dress in professional attire, and be prepared to speak with hiring managers. Interviews may take place onsite.
Whether you are transitioning from military service, reentering the workforce, advancing your career, or exploring a new path, this event is designed to help you take the next step.

- Parking: Free parking will be available at H6 Parking Structure Entrance, 245 W. 23rd Street, Los Angeles, CA 90007 (3rd floor and above ONLY). Complimentary shuttle service will operate between the parking structure and the venue for attendees and employers. The parking address and additional instructions will be provided by email before the event.
