To honor the men and women who serve in the United States Armed Forces, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library will host its annual Veterans Day Event on Wednesday, November 11, 2026. The day’s activities include live musical entertainment, a Civil War encampment, a military vehicle display, and a special program honoring all branches of the U.S. military.
A special flyover (weather permitting) is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. over the South Lawn, with the program beginning at 11:00 a.m.
The program includes a Presentation of Colors, patriotic musical performances, and remarks from Retired Marine Officer and Sniper Amatangelo “AJ” Pasciuti; Retired United States Army Major General and Palantir Senior Counselor Charles Cleveland; and Captain Daniel Brown, Commanding Officer of Naval Base Ventura County. AJ Pasciuti will speak about Dark Horse: Harnessing Hidden Potential in War and Life, an impactful memoir and call to action that explores leadership, service, resilience, and the boundless potential within us all.
Following the program, AJ Pasciuti will sign copies of Dark Horse: Harnessing Hidden Potential in War and Life. The book offers an inspiring perspective for warriors, leaders, and anyone eager to understand the strength found in serving others and the potential that resides within us all.
The day’s live musical performances will feature Santa Susana High School, the Royal High School Wind Ensemble, Project Peace by Piece Ensemble, and Note 4 Notes Chamber Ensemble. Guests can also enjoy a Civil War encampment, a military vehicle display, and special exhibits honoring all branches of the U.S. military.
In addition, join us at 1:00 p.m. for the screening of the Atomic Echoes Documentary. In this documentary, wo friends, connected by family histories on opposite sides of World War II, set out to explore the lasting trauma of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings. While Japanese hibakusha have endured lifelong health complications and psychological scars, American atomic veterans who witnessed the bombings’ aftermath have also faced radiation-related illnesses and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Atomic Echoes explores these experiences and the enduring impact of the atomic bombings across generations.
Outdoor events and the Veterans Day program are free to attend. Reservations are recommended for the program and for guests who wish to pre-purchase Dark Horse for the book signing.
Museum admission rates apply for admission to the Reagan Museum, Air Force One Pavilion, and our special exhibition Diana: Love Life Legacy. Veterans with valid identification will receive free admission to the Museum on November 11. Active-duty military members with valid identification are always admitted free.
We hope you will join us as we gather to recognize the courage, sacrifice, and service of America’s veterans and active-duty military members.
