Join us at the Silent Wings Museum for Veterans Day on Wednesday, November 11, 2026 as we honor the service and sacrifice of America’s military veterans. Our annual commemorative ceremony begins at 11:00 AM, opened by the Estacado High School Color Guard.
We’re honored to welcome Dr. Jennifer Wilson, who will present the City of Lubbock Veterans Day Proclamation, followed by an insightful talk exploring the global and national significance of this historic day.
Enjoy a moving performance by the All Saints Episcopal School Children’s Choir, celebrating the strength and dedication of those who’ve served.
Free museum admission all day!
Take time to explore the exhibits, write a note of encouragement to today’s service members, and pick up a poppy to wear in remembrance.
Don’t miss the evening celebration!
Come back from 6:00 to 8:00 PM for a lively Big Band Performance by Finessence, featuring the swing, jazz, and patriotic tunes that uplifted a generation during WWII.
Cash bar & refreshments available.
This meaningful day is made possible through the generous support of the Helen Jones Foundation.
