WESTAR VETERANS DAY CELEBRATION – HONORING ALL WHO SERVE!At Westar, we believe in teaching our students the importance of honor, respect, and gratitude for those who have served our country.
We are proud to invite our Westar families, veterans, and community members to join us for a special morning dedicated to recognizing the brave men and women who have served in our Armed Forces.
❤️🤍💙 Tuesday, November 10
🇺🇸 7:30–8:15am
📍 Westar Elementary School
Our morning will begin with the annual Legion Riders motorcycle drive-by, followed by a special Veterans Day ceremony in the courtyard.
🥞 A special breakfast for our veterans will be provided immediately following the ceremony!
WE NEED YOUR HELP SPREADING THE INVITATION!
Do you have a veteran in your family? A grandparent, parent, aunt, uncle, neighbor, or friend who has served? Whether they live right here in our community or are visiting from out of state, we would be honored to have them join us!
All Westar families are welcome to attend and help us show our appreciation.
To every veteran, thank you for your courage, your sacrifices, and your service. We are grateful for the freedoms you have helped protect and the example you set for our students.
All gave some. Some gave all. We remember. We honor. We thank you.
