Remember and connect
During Remembrance Week, the EDA invites you to hear Veterans’ stories and honour those who served. The organizer, writing as a Veteran, shares that he and his wife wore the Canadian Armed Forces uniform for more than five decades and served in missions at home and abroad. Many Canadians have also served; some did not return home, and some returned with visible or invisible wounds, including people in the riding. Remembering them is our duty.
- Date: Tuesday, 10 November 2026
- Time: 6:00–8:00 p.m. (1800–2000 hrs)
- Location: Manhattan’s, 405 Vine Street, St. Catharines
- For Veterans: Veterans are encouraged to wear their medals. Each Veteran will receive a ticket for a free drink of their choice.
Please invite Veterans you know and come to hear their stories. The Royal Canadian Legion has decreed that poppies may be worn from 24 October this year and in future years; you are encouraged to wear one.
