Veteran Tabs – Teversal Visitor Centre to Pleasley Pit and Back 0900 start with Mark Leek.Join us for a relaxed Veteran Tab, starting and finishing at Teversal Visitor Centre.
We'll set off together for a walk to Pleasley Pit, where we'll take a well-earned break for a cob, a brew and, most importantly, a good chat. Once we've had a chance to catch up and enjoy some company, we'll make our way back to Teversal Visitor Centre.
These walks are about getting outdoors, keeping active, meeting fellow veterans and enjoying a bit of camaraderie along the way. No pressure, no competition – just good company and fresh air.
What to bring:
- Comfortable, sensible walking shoes or boots.
- A drink of your choice – water, energy drink or juice.
- Clothing suitable for the unpredictable English weather.
- A waterproof jacket.
- A spare pair of socks wouldn't go amiss either!
A little reminder: British weather being what it is, come prepared for all conditions. It's always better to have an extra layer or waterproofs than wish you'd brought them!
Whether you're a regular walker or just fancy getting out and meeting some new people, you're very welcome.
