About this Event
Join Vet First, Inc. on September 30 from 4:00–5:30 PM at the Wine Pavilion at The Williamsburg Winery for a free recruitment and engagement event for veterans and military spouses interested in agriculture, farming, and building a sustainable future.
This event will be held in conjunction with the Historic Virginia Land Conservancy (HVLC), which will be hosting its own event at the same time and location. Together, these events provide an opportunity to learn more about agriculture, land conservation, and smart community growth.
Vet First will be sharing information about its Veteran Farm-to-Table Program, beginning October 5, and how participants can turn an interest in farming and agriculture into a practical plan for success.

- Learn about agriculture, land conservation, and smart community growth
- Connect with other veterans, military spouses, and community members
- Weather permitting, enjoy an on-farm tour of the gardens at Wessex Hundred
