Come join us at UF/IFAS Extension - Brevard County on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM (Eastern Time) for a fun and informative event! This workshop will be held in the Brevard Discovery Garden, an educational garden on our property, so bring whatever you need to be outside for a walking workshop. Participants will be able to take home a small composting worm bin full of composting worms, worm chow, extra bedding, and booklet full of vermicomposting information. Please wear closed-toed shoes and feel free to bring a chair, a hat, a jacket (if it's cold), plenty of water, and a note pad for notes, because there will be a lot of information!
Brevard County Master Gardener, Julie Schafer, will demonstrate how to vermicompost!
