About this Event
Venus Ascends: Working with Venus as the Warrior/ Morning Startarot workshop with Jenny Ruiz (host of the Tarot Salon)
Traditionally, when Venus would emerge from the Underworld and make the transition from Evening to Morning Star, she was seen as embodying her fiercer, more protective aspects. As Venus continues this current retrograde cycle until December, we will look at her journey using the tarot cards and archetypes as guidance on how to better embody the ways that we love and protect the things we cherish, whether those be ideas, places, people, and most especially ourselves.
Please bring a deck if you have one. Extras will be on hand for those who don't. All levels welcome ✨
Jenny Ruiz, a lifelong witch, was first drawn to tarot at the age of 8, and grew up reading for friends and family. The name Burning Times has been with her since the age of 19, and she chose it because it's a reminder that there will always be outside forces who are hostile to what we do; to femmes, to seekers, and to anyone considered Other. Though she has taken breaks from social media, she still does events and reads for private clients. One of her greatest joys in life is helping others connect to their own intuition and inner guidance.
