Invitamos a artistas Latina, Latino, Latinx, Latiné del área del ATX a celebrarnos unos a otros y nuestros caminos artísticos.
Perhaps you just booked a gig, or had your first exhibit, or you’ve decided to take a break and regroup. We are here for it and we want to hear it.
Quizá estas celebrando una presentación próxima, tu primer exhibición ó has decidido tomarte un descanso, queremos oírlo y celebrarte.
There are three parts to our convivio (tres partes del convivio)
Celebrating Each Other/Celebrándonos
During our time together, we will go around the circle and share the spotlight so that you can brag, yes brag! about where you are in your artistic journey and we will celebrate you with aplausos and hype vibes.
Durante nuestro tiempo juntos, iremos alrededor del círculo y te daremos oportunidad de presumir — ¡sí, presumir! — sobre dónde te encuentras en tu camino artístico. Y te celebraremos con aplausos y buena vibra.
Artist Compartiendo Inspiration
Our special guest artist for our next and last Convivio of 2026 is Sol Bautista who will be sharing with us a TED talk style presentation titled: What If the Future of Humanity Depends on How We Heal?
" I have come to believe that the future of humanity will depend not only on what we are capable of creating, but on what we are willing to heal" - Sol
More about Sol: Mexican-born psychologist, EMDR therapist, award-winning filmmaker, and international speaker whose work explores the intersection of human behavior, creativity, and collective transformation.
With over a decade of experience in education and leadership in the creative economy, including her former role as Director of Professional Development and Outreach at Creative Waco, Sol bridges neuroscience, psychology, art, and lived experience to challenge how we understand human progress.
A passionate advocate for individual and collective healing, she invites audiences to rethink what it means to grow, connect, and thrive in an ever-changing world. Her work is rooted in one powerful conviction: the future of humanity depends not only on what we create, but on who we become.
Connecting/Conectando
In some places, they call it networking. But our goal goes beyond exchanging Instagram or LinkedIn handles. It is about affirming our sense of belonging to this city, this state, this bigger landscape of Latina, Latino, Latinx, Latiné Artists mustering everyday the valentía (courage) to explore and/or express who we are and what we are here to say through our art. It is about coming together to walk away feeling connected.
