About this Event
The course will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify a range of vegetative grasses, using correct anatomical terminology, and the opportunity to use a variety of keys for identification. Being able to identify grasses without reliance on them being in flower can extend your plant identification season and is a useful skill for habitat surveying throughout the year. The course will include classroom and outdoor sessions.
Tutor: Laurie Wildwood BSc (Hons) MSc MCIEEM is a professional ecological consultant and botany tutor who, with his refreshing approach, aims to inspire adults and children to explore and appreciate the natural world. His professional background is in ecology, conservation and habitat management.
