Vaping has become a growing concern for many families. While vapes may look harmless, they can contain nicotine and other chemicals that may affect a young person’s developing brain, body, and mental health.
Annette, a Public Health Nurse from Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, will provide an informative presentation designed to help parents and caregivers better understand vaping. Learn what vaping is, why it appeals to youth, the health effects of nicotine and vaping products, how to recognize signs of vaping, and how to have supportive conversations with your child.
This session will provide practical strategies and resources to help parents stay informed, ask questions, and support their children in making healthy choices.
