Guided by our Cooking School chefs, you'll prepare a delicious seasonal menu that showcases the depth, complexity, and versatility of Casa Market Vanilla in every course, from savory dishes to an unforgettable dessert.
Along the way, discover the rich heritage of Casa Papantla in Veracruz, Mexico, where a family tradition of cultivating exceptional vanilla dates back to 1873. More than a cooking class, this is a celebration of craftsmanship, culture, and the remarkable ingredient that has been bringing warmth and flavor to holiday tables for generations.

ABOUT THE CASA MARKET:
The Casa Market celebrates the rich heritage of Mexican vanilla, sourcing its premium vanilla from Casa Papantla in Veracruz, the historic birthplace of vanilla. For centuries, the Totonac people of Papantla revered the vanilla orchid as a sacred gift, and their region became known as “the City that Perfumes the World.” This remarkable ingredient later found its way into the spiced cacao drinks of Aztec emperors before captivating Europe and the rest of the world.
Today, that legacy lives on through Casa Papantla, where a family tradition of producing exceptional vanilla has been passed down since 1873. The Casa Market is committed to preserving these generations of craftsmanship while supporting more than 300 farming families in the region. By sharing the authentic flavors and stories of Papantla, they honor one of the world's most treasured ingredients and the communities that continue to cultivate it.

At check-in, you will be asked to sign a waiver before entering the Cooking School.
For that reason, we ask that all attendees arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the confirmed start time of the class.
