Vanessa Greenway: All Shook UpSat, Feb 27, 3:00 PM
The Ashbrook Independent School, Corvallis, OR
Elvis Presley's vocal style was a unique hybrid, shaped directly by the specific vocal techniques of the gospel, blues, country and crooner artists he admired. He didn’t just sing their songs; he closely studied and absorbed their phrasing, vocal registers, and emotional delivery. Vanessa Greenway takes us from the smoky clubs of Beale Street to the soulful harmonies of Southern church sanctuaries through arrangements of both classic hits and deep cuts.
Thank you to our sponsors Collis Wealth Management and The Eye Center for this performance.
