*** We'll be glad to see you! Arrive early if you can. If you can't make it by 6pm, come anyway! Speed friending will continue until 8:00. After that, feel free to stay with us for karaoke! (About half of us sing; about half talk, enjoy a meal or drink, and enjoy the music!) I don't think we'll overwhelm the venue - which is huge - but, in case we do, entry will be on a first-come, first served basis.

It can be hard to make new friends once you're out of school. We’re trying to make it easier and a lot more fun!
This speed friending meetup for ages 18—120 is a great way to meet new people make a new friend or two.
It's just like speed dating (but completely different).
You’ll have a series of short, relaxed conversations with different people, with questions or conversation starters to keep things lively.
Afterward, Mary and I and some of our friends will be sticking around for a couple of hours of karaoke. We'd love for you to join us for that too! You can sing if you like, or just enjoy the music, hang out, and maybe have a meal or a drink. About half of us sing and about half just talk and listen, sometimes over some food or a drink. it's a great group of people and a fun time.
Come by yourself (if you like). In fact, that’s exactly what this is designed for! You don’t need to be especially outgoing, and you don’t need to already know anyone.
If you prefer, bring your partner, friends, sister or brother! We love having couples and friends groups here too!
The goal is simple: get people off their phones, talking face-to-face, laughing, and hopefully leaving with a few new people they’d genuinely like to see again.
This is a friendship and social group—not a dating group.
Drinking is never the point, and alcohol is completely optional.
This group is geared toward adults. Any participants under the age of 18 would have to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
