About this Event
This event will bring together adults living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) for an afternoon of connection, conversation, and community.
You're Just My Type was created to address something many people living with T1D quietly experience but rarely talk about: the mental and emotional weight of living with this disease every day.
Our gatherings create space for people to connect with others who truly understand what life with T1D is like. This event is designed to be welcoming and low pressure.
Through simple activities and small group conversations, you’ll have the chance to meet other people living with T1D, share experiences if you’d like, and spend time with people who get it.
When: Saturday, May 30th from 1–4pm PT
What: Simple activities and small group conversations designed to help you connect with others living with T1D in a relaxed, low-pressure setting.
Refreshments and light snacks will be provided.
Many people arrive not knowing anyone and leave feeling a little more connected, a little more understood, and a little less alone.
Whether you’ve lived with T1D for decades or were recently diagnosed, you’re welcome here.
