Workshop given in english and portuguese.
This workshop is an introductory session aimed at introducing pixel art as a technique.
It will show the participant how to produce pixel art with open source software. In addition, the application of pixel art for retro computer games will be outlined. https://libresprite.github.io/#!/downloads
The participants will be guided through a developing series of exercises which will culminate in their own project/piece.
This will allow an exploration of the techniques of production, from pixel art as a digital file to physical objects.
Bring: computer with mouse or any device that helps you to draw, such a graphics tablet.
Targer audience: Age 14+/adults.
Registration: 12€ (the responsibility of the trainer)
