About this Event
Surviving the Silly Season
A trauma-informed morning tea for women who have experienced domestic and family violence.
Join us for a warm and welcoming Christmas celebration morning tea focused on reconnecting with joy, remembering what matters most, and navigating the holiday season with greater self-compassion and support.
While the festive season can bring moments of happiness and connection, it can also feel overwhelming, emotional or difficult for many women. This gentle and supportive event is about creating space to pause, reconnect with your values, and find small moments of joy amongst the busyness of the season.
There is no pressure to share anything personal. Participation is always optional, and you are welcome to simply listen, reflect, connect, or enjoy the atmosphere in whatever way feels right for you.
During the morning you can expect:
• A warm welcome and festive morning tea
• A safe and supportive environment
• Gentle discussions around values, joy and emotional wellbeing
• Reflection activities focused on what matters most to you
• Practical tools for navigating the “silly season” with greater intention and self-care
• The opportunity to connect with other women who understand the journey forward
Numbers are intentionally capped to keep the space safe and supportive. Registration is essential.
