NO dance Friday, Oct 3rd - our home Harrisonburg Dance Coop is showcasing their performance "Portraits"!
For Saturday, Oct 18th we are led by a Groove facilitator 10am-11am for a guided authentic movement experience ($5 suggested donation, no one is turned away due to lack of funds).
Ecstatic dance is held every Third Saturday of the month, 10am-12pm (Suggested donation, $10) and every First Friday of the month, 7pm-9pm.
It will be 1.5-2 hours dedicated to movement and dance, opened with a facilitated warm-up, all set to a curated playlist to energize your body and uplift your spirit!
BIPOC and LGBQT+ and FAMILY FRIENDLY!
No previous experience is necessary. Chairs are provided for any needed accommodations. Comfortable clothes and ear-plugs for those who are ear-sensitive are recommended.
The Rules: 1) Dance-floor is conversation-free. 2) Come Sober. 3) Dance barefoot (unless medical condition prohibits). 4) Consent-based partner dancing. 5) Silence electronics + No taking pictures/videos of event.
A pay at the door Suggestion Donation of $10.
No one will be turned away due to lack of funds: proceeds go to support White Box Studio, also known as Harrisonburg Dance Co-Op.
