Valentine's Couples Carving Night Soapstone Workshop!
Join Route 22 Gallery for an evening of cultivating creativity with artist and Soapstone master Michael Emery. A perfect after-dinner activity to warm the heart and hands!
This intimate Valentine's evening workshop is a perfect for couples seeking some calm and connection in the inspiring setting of our artist collective's Makerspace within our gallery space in historic downtown Cochrane.
You will be guided through the basics of soapstone carving with all materials included and a small project to take home at the end of the evening.

Our cash bar will be open for refreshments throughout the workshop!

About the Instructor:
Michael Emery is an artist, educator, and mindfulness practitioner whose work reflects the complexities of his own evolving journey—a search for meaning, resilience, and creativity in a time of transformation.
With years of experience as a stone sculptor and a growing weaver, Michael inspires others to explore their own shades of grey, finding strength and insight in the artistic process.
