About this Event
The Tree Commission will call and email you the week of pickup to remind you of the pickup time and confirm the tree availability. Trees may be picked up at Valdosta State University, North Campus, 200 Pendleton Drive, Valdosta, GA 31698, on Saturday, February 21, 2024, from 8:00 am-12:00 am. There will not be an alternative pickup day. The pickup vehicle must be large enough to accommodate the requested trees – some are 7 feet tall.
Quantities are limited. Only three trees per address. The address must be in Lowndes County or any of the municipalities therein. All trees are 5-gallon. Trees include: Florida Flame Maple, River Birch, Eastern Redbud, Nellie R. Stevens Holly Tree, Muskogee Crape Myrtle, Natchez Crape Myrtle, Little Gem Magnolia, Jane Magnolia, Nuttall Oak, and Live Oak.
