Lauksime Jūsų VAIKŲ KNYGŲ SALA’26! 🫵🎉

On November 28–29, 2026, CHILDREN’S BOOK ISLAND invites literature lovers 📖, young readers 🧒, their parents 🧑🍼, and everyone else to come together and celebrate the festival’s 10th year anniversary! 🎂🥳 Let us enjoy the festival together at the Arts Printing House (Šiltadaržio st.. 6, Vilnius)! 📍🎭 Tickets will soon be available at www.vaikuknygusala.lt! 🎟️
This year’s festival theme is POP! ✨ What exactly is popular literature: classics that remain on the charts for decades or striking contemporary bestsellers? What matters more to an author—being a talented creator or a charismatic personality? Can being different lead to popularity? Does going against the grain always equate to quality? How do you "sell" reading? What is more important—a book that changed one life or a story that made hundreds of readers laugh? This year, we will explore the themes of popularity and popular literature in depth and with an open mind! 📚🤩
The festival’s guest of honor for 2026 is Sweden 🇸🇪, and the event is organized in collaboration with Litteralund, a festival held in the Swedish city of Lund. 🎆
Over 30 events await you during the festival, featuring not only creators from Lithuania 🇱🇹 and Sweden 🇸🇪 but also authors from other countries. 🌍✍️
We invite you not only to have a wonderful time but also to meet book creators and explore their work, as well as to listen to them and join them in discussion! 🎊📝
We look forward to seeing you at CHILDREN’S BOOK ISLAND’26! 🫵🎉
