Join us for a fascinating docent-led tour of the University of Washington Biology Greenhouse. The docent will point out highlights, history and ecological concepts in the four collection rooms, which range from desert to temperate to tropical climates. Each room contains a diversity of notable plants collected over the long history of botany at the UW. We will also learn how the greenhouse equipment works to create a range of favorable environments for all specimens. After the guided tour, you are welcome to revisit the rooms at your own pace for more extensive exploration and photos.
