Young makers are invited to explore the tiny world of insects through art, design and hands-on STEAM experimentation.About this Event
In this creative sculpture workshop, participants will look closely at insect forms, patterns and structures before designing and building their own imaginative insect-inspired mini sculpture. To add an extra glow of discovery, participants will paint their sculptures with UV-reactive pigments and create their own UV torch. They can then use their torch to illuminate hidden colours, watch their creations glow, and explore the science of ultraviolet light through a fun, interactive experiment. All materials provided.
