Join the University System of Maryland at Southern Maryland (USMSM) for the third session of our Doing Business with Government Agencies Speaker Series, featuring Dr. Dale L. Moore, Chair of the Maryland Aerospace and Technology Commission, President of the Southern Maryland Navy Alliance, and Intermittent Lecturer in the Acquisition Sciences Group at the Naval Postgraduate School. Meet the Speaker
Dr. Dale L. Moore
Chair, Maryland Aerospace and Technology Commission
President, Southern Maryland Navy Alliance
Intermittent Lecturer, Naval Postgraduate School
Dr. Dale L. Moore is the newly appointed Chair of the Maryland Aerospace and Technology Commission and currently serves as President of the Southern Maryland Navy Alliance. He is also an Intermittent Lecturer in the Acquisition Sciences Group within the Department of Defense Management at the Naval Postgraduate School. Dr. Moore brings more than four decades of experience across the full life cycle of Department of Defense acquisition. Throughout his career, he has led enterprise-wide strategic operations, organizational change, innovation, and transformation initiatives, with extensive experience spanning engineering, acquisition, technology development, strategic planning, and defense innovation.He chairs the Southern Maryland 2030 Workforce Board of Advisors and serves on several regional and state organizations, including the Maryland Military Installations Council, the Southern Maryland Economic Development Association, the Patuxent Partnership Board of Directors, and the St. Mary’s County Economic Development Commission.
