FEEL. CREATE. CONNECT. COMMUNICATE.
An Adult Community Arts Workshop | Ages 18+
What have we become numb to that our voices can no longer afford to leave unspoken?
Join multimedia artist and spoken-word recording artist Amber Nicolle, professionally known as N.R.G. da NuRa Goddezz, for a creative experience exploring Human Rights, Social Justice, Peace, and Freedom of Expression through spoken word, creative writing, and visual art.
Participants will explore personal experiences and social issues, experiment with different forms of poetry and writing, and discover how words, images, symbols, and artistic expression can communicate powerful messages.
Guest visual teaching artist Kelly Crawford will lead a graffiti lettering and visual design demonstration, giving participants an opportunity to explore how their hands can express what words sometimes cannot.
No previous writing or art experience is necessary. Just bring your thoughts, your perspective, and your willingness to create!
