The USNLP's goal is to unite Civil War Naval reenactors to march together in the 70th Gettysburg Remembrance Day Parade. While there were no sailors present in the actual battle in 1863, there has always been a naval presence in the parade in some form or another. There will be a wreath laying(if permitted by the USNPS) in memoriam of the sacrifice of those buried in the National Cemetery. This invitation is extended to not only our sister crews in the Navy Marine Living History Association but to all civil war U.S. naval impressions.(USN, USMC, and USRCS/LHS) To be officially put on the roster, please email our crew coordinator at [email protected].Please stay tuned on this event page for updates!
