Welsh bassist Ursula Harrison is joined by Swedish guitarist Thi Johansson to perform the music of both of their home countries. The two met while studying in Trondheim, Norway and instantly bonded over a shared, yet unusual combination of influences: singer-songwriter music and avant-garde free improvisation. This is what they will present in this concert, a totally impromptu set, weaving between folk melodies, original compositions and standards from the singer-songwriter and jazz traditions.
