Fancy seeing Mansfield a little differently?
Join artist Sam Edwards, as seen on Sky Arts’ Landscape Artist of the Year, for a relaxed outdoor urban sketching session inspired by the Museum’s beautiful collection of Buxton paintings.
You’ll head outside to explore the local landscape and create your own watercolour interpretation of Mansfield, with Sam on hand to guide you along the way.
Whether you’re already a keen artist or haven’t picked up a paintbrush since school, this is a chance to slow down, get creative and look at familiar places with fresh eyes.
What to expect:

A relaxed and friendly atmosphere
A chance to explore and draw the town from a different perspective
