About this Event
URBAN PULSE is a site-specific audiovisual installation by IO Multimedia, developed for Open Casello | Giovani Milano.
The project connects the outside and inside of Open Casello, transforming the surrounding city into material for a constantly evolving audiovisual environment. Images, sounds, movements and urban rhythms are gathered in real time and reassembled inside the space, where Windows Out opens three projected windows onto a city that is no longer exactly the one outside.
In the outdoor area, a reflective Totem acts as a point of contact with the city, observing, listening and reflecting what happens around it. The presence of the city itself continuously shapes the installation.
