Description: October is a beautiful month to explore Lake View Cemetery, a classic urban greenspace with mature trees, rolling terrain, and quiet pathways. White‑throated Sparrows and Dark‑eyed Juncos often feed along the gravestones as both Golden‑crowned and Ruby‑crowned Kinglets move through the trees. Brown Creeper may be working the trunks, and we’ll check the wooded areas for migrating thrushes. The combination of historic grounds and extensive tree cover makes Lake View Cemetery a reliable location for observing urban fall birds.
