🎓UQLS VALEDICTORY LAW DINNER 2026 🎓After years of lectures, tutorials, assignments, exams and everything in between, it’s finally time to celebrate how far you’ve come.
The UQ Law Society is delighted to invite you to the 2026 Valedictory Dinner, held this year at the beautiful Sofitel Brisbane Central.
Valedictory Dinner is our chance to celebrate the students approaching the end of their UQ Law journey and bring everyone together for one memorable night before the next chapter begins. Whether you’re graduating at the end of 2026 or in mid-2027, this is your graduation celebration and your chance to mark the end of law school together.
And while our graduating students are at the heart of the evening, the Dinner is open to students from all year levels. Whether you’re celebrating your own graduation or coming along to support friends who are, everyone is welcome to join us for the night.
The evening will feature a sit-down three course dinner, live band, photobooth, guest speakers and plenty of opportunities to hit the dance floor! We are also excited to announce the recipient of the Sarah Derrington Trophy, recognising exceptional contribution and achievement within the UQ Law community.
After spending four, five, six or perhaps a few more years making your way through law school, there is no better way to celebrate the occasion than surrounded by the people who experienced it with you.
