About this Event
Through creative play using simple household items and homemade resources, families will discover how everyday objects can become exciting learning opportunities. We will also explore child safety within the home, helping parents and carers identify potential hazards from a child's perspective and build confidence in creating a safe environment for exploration.
During the session we will:
- Use household items to encourage curiosity, problem-solving and learning.
- Explore ways to support your baby's development through play at home.
- Discuss common home safety risks, including falls, poisoning, fire safety and strangulation hazards.
- Learn practical tips for keeping babies and young children safe as they become more mobile.
- Understand that every child develops at their own pace and why learning and development are not always linear.
