Join the Upper West Side Run Club for a pre-marathon shakeout on Saturday, October 31st at 9:00AM! Marathoners, cheer zone enthusiasts, and guests of all levels are welcome.
UWSRC has 200+ runners who are running the 2026 TCS NYC Marathon, and we invite you to join us in sending them off with a celebratory 2.62 mile shakeout. We are meeting at the Obelisk in Central Park, across the East Drive from the MET Museum. The Obelisk is also where the UWSRC Marathon Cheer Zone with will stationed. There will be pace groups for this run between 8-11 min per mile and we are coordinating a run-walk group as well.
