Upcycling workshop

Beginner level workshop for Beginner to Intermediate level sewists (machine or by hand) - intro to upcycling! Patches, zippers, grommets, thread, bleach pen, etc. will be provided! And the assistance of an expert upcycler! Go home with a reimagined piece of clothing or accessory :)

Bring an item of clothing or an accessory you want to upcycle! Items will be provided if you don’t have anything :)

Examples:

• A boring base that could use a fun patch or design (tee shirt, tote bag, button down, jeans, jean jacket, sweatshirt, sweatpants, possibilities are endless!)
• A thrifted dress that’s dying to be a two piece
• A thrifted blanket that would be a cool hoodie

If you are making something new out of something else, we recommend bringing an example of the end product to use as a pattern. Ex if making a blanked into a hoodie, bring a blanket and a hoodie!
