Turn everyday waste into wearable art in our innovative Resin & Repurposed Food Packaging Accessories workshop! Dive into the fascinating world of resin art as you embed colorful, cut-up pieces of food packaging (think vibrant snack wrappers, unique textures) into clear resin to create stunning earrings and keychains. Learn essential resin casting techniques, how to safely work with the materials, and design your own eco-chic statement pieces. All supplies, including resin, molds, findings, and a selection of cleaned food packaging, will be provided for you to craft unique accessories that are truly one-of-a-kind and tell a personal story.
In this workshop, participants will learn::
- Fundamentals of working with UV resin.
- Creative methods for embedding and arranging repurposed food packaging in resin.
- Safety guidelines and best practices for handling resin materials.
- How to properly attach earring backings and keychain rings to your finished resin pieces.
Age Requirement: This workshop is suitable for children ages 8 and up.
