Celebrate sustainability, environmental stewardship, creative reuse and America Recycles Day at the 3rd annual UpCycle Festival, hosted by Keep Norfolk Beautiful and Norfolk Public Library. This event brings together environmental organizations, local artists and makers to showcase innovative ways to repurpose materials and reduce waste. Attendees will participate in hands-on workshops, view upcycled art and explore a variety of ways to cut down on waste, conserve resources and create something new and meaningful.
Festival highlights include composting, basic hand sewing, sustainable swaps, green panel discussion and more!
The UpCycle Festival is free and family-friendly. Most activities will take place at the Randi Marston Peterson Maker Studio, Youth Services Program Room and outside on the patio.
