Unwind
Guided Breathwork & Nervous System Reset in Folkestone
End your week feeling calmer, lighter and more connected to yourself.
If your mind rarely switches off, your shoulders are constantly tense or you’ve spent the week rushing from one thing to the next, Unwind offers a gentle space to pause.
For 60 minutes, you’ll step away from the noise, slow things down and reconnect with your body through gentle movement, guided breathwork and meditation.
Whether you’ve had a stressful week, you’re feeling overwhelmed or you simply want to head into the weekend feeling more grounded, this class offers a chance to reset.
Launching Thursday 8 October at Grace Hill Studios, followed by fortnightly sessions from Thursday 29 October.
Upcoming dates: 8 October, 29 October, 12 November and 26 November
No experience is needed. Just come as you are.
You don’t need to do anything perfectly. You just need to arrive.
More than just a fortnightly class
Unwind isn’t about doing breathwork or meditation perfectly or trying to “fix” yourself.
It’s a space to become more aware of your body, understand how your nervous system responds to stress and build simple tools you can take into everyday life.
In each session, you’ll explore breathwork techniques, gentle movement and grounding practices that you can use beyond the class. This might be to help you settle before bed, navigate a stressful day or create a few moments of pause when life feels overwhelming.
Over time, many people find they spend less time caught up in their thoughts, feel more connected to their bodies and become more comfortable simply being themselves.
Unwind also offers an opportunity to connect with others who are choosing to slow down. Many people find that this sense of community becomes just as valuable as the practice itself.
During the session, you can expect
- Gentle arrival and grounding
- Gentle movement to release tension
- Simple breathwork techniques to support nervous system regulation
- Meditation and guided relaxation
- Time to integrate before heading home
Each session follows a familiar structure, creating a sense of safety and consistency while gradually introducing new techniques over time.
You might enjoy Unwind if...
- You often feel mentally busy or overstimulated
- You struggle to switch off after work
- You’d like to head into the weekend feeling calmer
- You’re looking for a regular wellbeing practice
- You’re curious about breathwork but aren’t sure where to begin
