About this Event
No keynote.
No hour-long panel.
No pressure to deliver the perfect elevator pitch.
Unmute Your Career Chicago is a small-group professional social inside a hidden Fulton Market lounge, designed around better conversations, practical professional visibility, and an updated headshot.
Instead of sitting through presentations, guests move through short facilitated discussion circles focused on work, skills, career direction, communication, and the kinds of projects they want to explore next.
The evening also includes a professional headshot station for eligible ticket holders and relaxed open social time after the structured portion ends.
This is not a recruiting fair, career-coaching program, or job-placement event.
No employer access, interview, promotion, salary increase, client opportunity, or other professional outcome is guaranteed.
Small-Group Career Circles
The structured part of the evening uses optional conversation prompts such as:
What skill would you like to be known for?
What kind of project do you want to do more often?
What professional conversation would you like to get better at?
What type of work gives you energy?
What are you learning right now?
What would make your next professional chapter more interesting?
Guests choose what they want to share.
You are not required to disclose salary, financial information, employer-confidential material, performance reviews, health information, immigration information, or other sensitive personal details.
Professional Headshot Station
Selected ticket types include a short portrait appointment during the event.
The photographer will provide basic posing and framing direction for a clean professional portrait suitable for a profile, portfolio, or personal website.
Eligible ticket holders receive:
one scheduled portrait session;
one edited digital headshot;
digital delivery after the event.
Portraits are not automatically used by the organizer for advertising.
Promotional use of an identifiable attendee image requires separate permission.
Hidden-Lounge Social
After the guided discussion rounds, the format opens up.
Stay at a conversation table, reconnect with someone from an earlier round, or meet someone new.
This is a professional social without forced introductions.
Normal conversation about your work is welcome.
Aggressive selling, unsolicited mass recruiting, MLM promotion, financial pitching, lead harvesting, and repeated unwanted solicitation are not part of the event.
Zero-Proof Beverage Service
Eligible in-person tickets include one house zero-proof beverage from the confirmed event menu.
The exact selection will be published only after the venue confirms the event package.
No beverage is presented as providing health, wellness, mood, productivity, or performance benefits.
